New Town, New School, New Kid

I'm the new kid, going to a new school, smack dab in the middle of the year. I'm in the middle of 8th grade, the years you should savoir before your pushed into high school. No worries! No ones going to bother me! I hope.

"Elliot! Get in the car! Your going to be late for school!" my dad called out. October just ended, we are in the first week of November, or should I say "The Turkey Month!" my dad always says. I hop in the rust bucket of a pickup truck, my dad says hes going to get it a paint job at the end of the month, he said that a year ago. "Dad, I'm going to be late for class anyway. Don't you remember? You and me have to meet the principal." I remind him, knowing he forgot. Dad turned toward me and gave a little smirk. "Don't worry, Elly! I never forget!" Yea right! Dad took the keys and started the truck, it roared to life. Hopefully, no one will notice dad's car.

We pulled up in the guest parking lot, or is this the teachers parking lot? Lets just go with guest. "Don't be nervous, its going to be fine." Dad said trying to comfort me, which was not working. "Dad, the past two schools, I've been bullied. Remember? We had to move just to get me to a better school." I tell him. Dad looks at me and says "Maybe this one will be better."

Last night, I got this idea out of a book. To me I think the theme is being the new kid and being bullied all the time. Now in my experience, when your the new kid, your popular until your in a group of friends. When your in a group then your not popular. But when your new, everyone wants to know who you are, what your like, they want you to be in their group. That's in my school, I never really been the new kid, but I have seen how kids act around a new kid. Getting off topic here, the other theme is bullying. I don't want to go on a crazy speech about bullying is bad, and stuff. So I'm going to say this...

READ THE SIGN!!

p.s. should I continue the story?

The Noise

Somewhere in the streets of New York...

"You have to hurry up! I can't hear it anymore!" Mark yelled. I roll my eyes and gain speed, getting near Mark. "Where are we going anyway?" I ask him. He doesn't answer and keeps running, pushing aside the sidewalk traffic. He takes a sharp turn down an alley, making me almost slip as I try to follow him. At the end of the alley is sitting a big blue box, that says police telephone box.
"Is that-" I say "Yep." he answers. The Doctor's TARDIS.

The reason why I wrote this is:

  1. I'm behind my deadline
  2. I'm in the mood to write about The Doctor
  3. It's a really cool tv show, if you haven't heard about it, you should watch it!

Robin's Encounter (Spoilers to the Batman Movie)

My sister convinced our parents to see the Dark Knight Rises, it was very interesting. Lot's of action of course, but then there was the plot of the story. You thought Bane was the bad guy, but it was actually Bruce's lover. Some stuff I didn't get, but all in all it was a pretty good movie. In the end you finally see Robin, Batman's awesome sidekick.
After the movie ended, and we were driving home, I got a story idea. and here it is...

Robin's Encounter

On top of a dark roof stands a man wearing red and green overlooking the city. His face looks troubled, like something is bothering him. The man notices a shadow and turns around to see a girl staring at him in awe. "Are you Robin?" the girl asks. The Robin nods, looking grim. Just then, Robin notices the girl is crying. "What's wrong?" he asks. The girl walks up to him and gives him a small envelope, written on it, is a scribbled word saying 'Robin'. "The Joker sends his regards." she says. The girl back away, and jumps off the roof. Robin runs over to the edge o, but sees nothing except for an empty street and a flickering light post. Troubled by what just happened, Robin starts to examine the envelope to see what's going on.

Welcome

In this blog, I post random stories about many different things. waking up in the morning, homework, cooking, or even stories that I kinda remember from my dream. Every week I'm going to post a story, a poem, or even some boring essay about a book I wrote... Depends on my mood.
